There are too different nationalities of the people buried, like Colombians, English, Italian...
William Mark founded this cemetery when he arrived in Malaga in 1816. Mark rests there today and his monument, one of the cemetery's most prominent memorials.

Robert Boy (the man who defended the freedom and constitution of Spain) was executed with Torrijos on San Andrés Beach. 

There is a famous ''amigo de España'' (spain's friend) writer buried here. His name is Gerarld Brenan. He was borned in Malta in April of 1894, and he die in Alhaurín el Grande in 1987. His wife (Gamel Woolsey Brenan) is buried here too. 
There is a Canadian married couple buried togethere: Ethel Miles and George Miles.
